Farron Gomez put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Friday. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Live Oak's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 4-1 (and 7-9 when he doesn't).
