Basketball Recap: Watchung Hills Regional Comes Up Short

Watchung Hills Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 59-50 to the Immaculata Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Spartans are ranked 42nd).

Watchung Hills Regional's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Immaculata, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Watchung Hills Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-41 victory against Franklin on the 23rd. Immaculata has also already played their next matchup, a 72-58 win against North Hunterdon on the 21st.
