Baseball Game Preview: Osage Green Devils vs. Hampton-Dumont/CAL

The Osage Green Devils are taking a road trip to challenge Hampton-Dumont/CAL at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Osage has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since May 28.

Osage came up short against West Fork on Monday, falling 15-4.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS 5-3. The victory was some much needed relief for Hampton-Dumont/CAL as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Osage's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

Everything went Osage's way against Hampton-Dumont/CAL in their previous meeting back in June of 2025, as Osage made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
