Softball Recap: Brevard Takes a Loss

Brevard was the 13-1 winner over West Henderson when they last played one another back in March of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils lost 14-5 to the Falcons on Thursday.

Kynna McCall was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Cabe, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Brevard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for West Henderson, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Brevard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-6 victory against Smoky Mountain on the 10th. Hopefully West Henderson paid attention to the Blue Devils' contest: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
