Hanover Central posted their biggest victory since December 17, 2024 on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 64-44 margin over the Hobart Brickies. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season.

Hobart lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Paxson Hicko, who posted ten points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Hicko a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Erik Kingery, who put up ten points.

The win got Hanover Central back to even at 6-6. As for Hobart, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hanover Central Wildcats duke it out with the Griffith Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hanover Central comes in on three and Griffith on four. As for Hobart, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-54 victory against Illiana Christian on the 18th.
