Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends North Forsyth's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but North Forsyth unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Pace Academy Knights. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Knights when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Pace Academy scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19.

Gabbie Isakson paced North Forsyth's offense, picking up seven kills. Isakson got some help from Ava Husted and her 15 assists.

Pace Academy was led to victory by Gabby Emch and Zoe Taylor. Emch had eight digs and four assists, while Taylor had five digs and one assist.

North Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Pace Academy, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Coincidentally, North Forsyth and Pace Academy will both be playing Woodward Academy the next time they take the court. The Raiders will host the War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
