Volleyball Recap: Douglass Comes Up Short

Douglass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Dunbar Mightymen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-11.

Douglass' record is now 1-6. As for Dunbar, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Douglass is set to challenge their familiar foe Kelvyn Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Dunbar will square off against rival Farragut at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
