Softball Recap: Armwood Hawks vs. King Lions

Armwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-17 heartbreaker at the hands of the King Lions. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 25-7.

Tikema Jackson led a balanced group of hitters, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Mya Ankers also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
