Thomas Jefferson had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 79-62 win over the Serra Catholic Eagles.

Despite the loss, Serra Catholic still got an impressive performance from Tyler Sapida, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Mark Johnson was another key player, putting up 14 points.
