Soccer Game Preview: Park Hill South vs. Rockhurst

Park Hill South hasn't had much luck against Rockhurst recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will challenge the Hawklets at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Park Hill South comes in on six and Rockhurst on 16.

Park Hill South is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Blue Springs South 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Park Hill South were the better team in the second half.

Noah Stevens and Nico Pastorino scored both of Park Hill South's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Rockhurst faced Glendale in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hawklets' defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 3-0 shutout. Considering Rockhurst have won 16 matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Park Hill South's record now sits at 18-5. As for Rockhurst, their record is now 21-0-1.
