Basketball Recap: Trinity Catholic Skates Past Dunnellon with Ease

Trinity Catholic won the last time they faced Dunnellon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trinity Catholic Celtics simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Dunnellon Tigers 59-21. Given the Celtics' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Tigers are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trinity Catholic found their leader in freshman Ja'Niya Corbin, who posted 13 points along with five assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayhanna Owusu, who put up six points and eight boards.

Trinity Catholic was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dunnellon only racked up seven assists.
