Flag Football Game Preview: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Greenbrier Wolfpack

After each having a week off, the Hebron Christian Lions and the Greenbrier Wolfpack will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on December 4. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Hebron Christian 8.3, Greenbrier 5.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Thursday, Hebron Christian beat Gainesville 13-6.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier faced Grovetown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wolfpack never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. Give the Wolfpack's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Greenbrier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.8 points on average over those games. As for Hebron Christian, their record is now 13-4.
