Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gulf Shores). They blew past the Robertsdale Golden Bears 19-10 on Thursday. The Dolphins haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Jacob O'Bryan was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, three doubles, and four RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Tres Moore, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Gulf Shores was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Robertsdale only posted a batting average of .226.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 10-8. As for Robertsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
