Flag Football Recap: Arvada West Finds Playoff Glory Versus Northglenn

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Arvada West had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 38-0 win over the Northglenn Norsemen. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Arvada West didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jocelyn Ayriss, Millicent Sullivan, and Kenzie Eudaly picked up one apiece. Sullivan got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory was the 12th in a row for Arvada West, bringing their record up to 13-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.8 points on average over those games. As for Northglenn, they moved to 12-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Arvada West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-0 loss against Chaparral on the 18th. Northglenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
