Flag Football Game Preview: Soledad Aztecs vs. North Monterey County Condors + How To Watch

The Soledad Aztecs will square off against the North Monterey County Condors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Soledad 11.1, North Monterey County 7.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

Last Tuesday, Soledad ended up a good deal behind Pajaro Valley and lost 25-6. The Aztecs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North Monterey County got themselves on the board against Seaside on Tuesday, but Seaside never followed suit. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 46-0 win over the Spartans. The result was nothing new for the Condors, who have now won four contests by 27 points or more so far this season.

North Monterey County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Crystal Derrer.

North Monterey County pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Soledad, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Soledad didn't have too much breathing room in their game against North Monterey County in their previous matchup back in September, but they still walked away with a 13-7 victory.
