Recap: Central Christian Saints vs. Atmore Christian Rams
The Central Christian Saints stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Atmore Christian 68-36 on the road. With Central Christian ahead 44-15 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Central Christian found their leader in underclassman Jarrod Harmon, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Harmon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Daniel Wint was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
The victory was the third in a row for Central Christian, bringing their record for this year to 11-5. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.33 points. As for Atmore Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Central Christian and Atmore Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Atmore Christian is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for they, they will head out on the road to take on Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Central Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
