Baseball Recap: South Tahoe Comes Up Short

South Tahoe saw some tournament action on Monday. They came up short against the Rio Linda Knights, falling 15-3. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Tahoe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Herrera, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another was Luke Day, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

South Tahoe's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Rio Linda, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.

South Tahoe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-5 defeat against Lincoln on the 14th. As for Rio Linda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-0 win against El Camino on the 15th.
