Meanwhile, Northern Guilford entered their tilt with Southwest Guilford on Wednesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Northern Guilford got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-13, 28-30, 25-16.
Northern Guilford's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Southern Guilford, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
