Football Recap: Clarksburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thursday just wasn't the day for Clarksburg's offense. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of the Quince Orchard Cougars on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Coyotes in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost nine in a row.

Nikhil Sayal threw for 82 yards on 12 of 18 attempts. Dominick Malone was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards.

Quince Orchard can attribute much of their success to William Drakeford Jr., who threw for 241 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes.

Clarksburg now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Quince Orchard, their record now sits at 7-0.

Coming up, Clarksburg will head out to face off against Watkins Mill at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Quince Orchard, they will welcome Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cougars 6.7, the Jaguars 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
