Oshkosh North and Neenah are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oshkosh North will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Oshkosh North is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Manitowoc Lincoln on Saturday as they made off with a 9-3 victory. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Ships recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Kara Cummings was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off nine hits. Cummings was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Sophia Housworth was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emma Niemczyk, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Oshkosh North kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Neenah is still undefeated this season after their contest against Stevens Point on Friday, but Stevens Point came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Rockets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Panthers 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rockets have posted since May 11, 2024.

Neenah's record is now 4-0. As for Oshkosh North, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Oshkosh North came out on top in a nail-biter against Neenah in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
