Monsignor Farrell and Fordham Prep are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Lions are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Last Saturday, Monsignor Farrell was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to Salesian.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fordham Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Kellenberg Memorial by a score of 51-41 on Friday.

Monsignor Farrell better keep an eye on Brian Kapfer. He was instrumental in Fordham Prep's win, almost dropping a double-double with 26 points and nine rebounds. Kapfer is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Finbar Duffy, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Monsignor Farrell's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fordham Prep, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Monsignor Farrell came up short against Fordham Prep in their previous meeting back in January, falling 71-65. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
