Volleyball Recap: George Walton Academy Takes a Loss

George Walton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Loganville Christian Academy Lions. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-18.

Loganville Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was London Edmunds, who had four digs and two aces.

George Walton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. George Walton Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Lakeview Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Loganville Christian Academy will face off against rival Bethlehem Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
