Football Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bend last Friday, Ridgeview came back down to earth. The Ravens lost to the Mountain View Cougars on the road by a 21-6 margin on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Ravens in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Gage Hobbs threw for 132 yards on nine of 24 attempts. Danner Frost was his top target, picking up 64 receiving yards.

Ridgeview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ridgeview will challenge rival Redmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mountain View is set to take on their familiar foe Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
