Tipton-Rosemark Academy won against Covington on Saturday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Rebels came out on top against the Fayette Academy Vikings by a score of 6-1. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

Vito Ofiara spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Owen Van Meter and Sebastian Walker did most of the damage at the plate: Van Meter went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Walker got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Walker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wesley Pinner, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Fayette Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
