Volleyball Game Preview: Stark County Rebels vs. Knoxville Blue Bullets + How To Watch

Stark County hasn't had much luck against Knoxville recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Rebels will take on the Blue Bullets at 5:00 p.m. Stark County will be strutting in after a victory while Knoxville will be coming in after a defeat.

Stark County will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Bureau Valley, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Rebels came out on top against the Storm by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

Stark County never let Bureau Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Knoxville came up short against Monmouth United on Monday and fell 2-0. The Blue Bullets have struggled against the Red Storm recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Knoxville had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Knoxville's loss dropped their record down to 12-10-1. As for Stark County, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.

Stark County couldn't quite get it done against Knoxville when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
