Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Central Takes a Loss

Lawrence Central lost against Indian Creek back in August of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears fell 2-0 to the Braves. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Lawrence Central saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lillian Dailey had six digs and six aces. Dailey is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Lawrence Central now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Indian Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Coming up, Lawrence Central will venture away from home to challenge Greenfield-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Indian Creek, they will face off against Speedway at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
