Soccer Game Preview: Eagle Mountain vs. Castleberry

Eagle Mountain is 0-3 against Castleberry since February of 2025 but things could change on Tuesday. The Knights will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Eagle Mountain managed to slip by Lake Worth the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 4-0 to the Bullfrogs on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Eagle Mountain have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, Castleberry hasn't lost a match since January 20th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Lake Dallas finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Castleberry's draw gives them a new season record of 11-7-4. As for Eagle Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4-2.

Eagle Mountain couldn't quite get it done against Castleberry in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
