Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Avery Daniel and Paityn Carson Lead Vallivue to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middleton, Vallivue was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Caldwell Cougars 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

Vallivue never let Caldwell on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Leading Vallivue to victory were Paityn Carson and Avery Daniel. Carson had 14 assists and six digs, while Daniel had five digs and five aces. Those 14 assists gave Carson a new career-high.

Vallivue's victory bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Caldwell, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Vallivue has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Bishop Kelly on the 20th. Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
