Basketball Recap: Altha Starts Season with Win at Home

Altha took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They breezed past Covenant Christian to the tune of 64-17. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Covenant Christian, too.

Covenant Christian is on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Altha will challenge Emmanuel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covenant Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gulf Pointe Latin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
