Soccer Recap: Oak Ridge Takes a Loss

Oak Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the College Park Cavaliers. While losing is never fun, the War Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 744th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 111th).

Oak Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for College Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Oak Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against New Caney on the 21st. As for College Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Grand Oaks on the 21st.
