Softball Game Preview: Providence Christian Academy Storm vs. Banks County Leopards

Providence Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Banks County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Storm will take on the Leopards at 5:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Providence Christian Academy fell victim to Prince Avenue Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Storm couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Belle Vann made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Banks County entered their game against Elbert County on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Leopards took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Providence Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Banks County, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 20-4.

Providence Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Banks County in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 5-2. Can the Storm avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
