Lexington Senior got themselves on the board against High Point Central on Friday, but High Point Central never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over the Bison. The Yellowjackets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jaiden Summers was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes. Lexington Senior's leading receiver Ja'Hon Robinson was Summers' top target yet again, picking up 129 receiving yards and one score.

Lexington Senior didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jarri McGowan and Original Sifford. Another thorn in High Point Central's side was Zakhi White, who picked up two sacks and made six total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Lexington Senior now has a winning record of 5-4. As for High Point Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Lexington Senior will take on Ledford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.56 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for High Point Central, they will square off against T.W. Andrews at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
