Centralia skates past Fayette with ease

The Centralia Panthers can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They blew past Fayette 68-32 on the road. That 36 points margin sets a new team best for Centralia this season.

Fayette's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Payton Oeth, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Charles Alexander, who scored eight points.

Centralia now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Fayette, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centralia will challenge Marceline at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fayette, they will head out on the road to square off against South Callaway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Callaway presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fayette in Missouri (South Callaway is ranked 190th, while Fayette is ranked 480th).
