Basketball Game Preview: Beaver Dam Golden Beavers vs. Milton Red Hawks

The Beaver Dam Golden Beavers will take on the Milton Red Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Beaver Dam didn't have too much trouble with Watertown as they won 70-51. Given the Golden Beavers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Goslings are ranked 260th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Milton escaped with a win on Tuesday against DeForest by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Hawks.

Milton's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Beaver Dam, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 10-8.

Beaver Dam strolled past Milton when the teams last played back in January by a score of 70-54. Will Beaver Dam repeat their success, or does Milton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
