Peninsula - Lake recap September 24, 2013

El Camino was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Peninsula - Lake. Earlier in the week, the Colts defeated Lincoln 12-7.

Mills scaled the state rankings by moving to 672 from 796 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Vikings were able to move up by topping San Lorenzo Valley 37-7.

Hillsdale's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cole Carrithers has thrown for 717 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while John Paran has 13 catches for 203 yards.

Jefferson lost to Petaluma 53-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Damari Davis threw for 87 yards and ran for 81 yards in the defeat.
