Football Recap: Ball Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ball extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 2-7. They lost 41-18 to the West Brook Bruins. The Tornadoes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

Corieon Sanders threw for 116 yards and one TD. Juwaan Woodbury was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Torin Petteway rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown.

As for West Brook, their record now sits at 6-3. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Ball is ranked 579th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Brook to victory, but perhaps none more so than Willie Clark, who rushed for 173 yards and one TD while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Those 173 rushing yards gave Clark a new career-high. Brandon Jackson was in the mix as well, providing West Brook with two touchdowns.
