Hibriten took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against West Caldwell, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers skirted past the Warriors 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted against the Warriors since March 15, 2023.

Hibriten got a massive performance out of Allie Stilwell, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was Stilwell's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Watson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Hibriten hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Caldwell struck out six times.

The victory made it two in a row for Hibriten and bumps their season record up to 7-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-6 East Burke and 4-7 West Caldwell. As for West Caldwell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Hibriten didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against CHASE on the 27th. As for West Caldwell, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against East Burke on the 27th.
