Wando is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Lexington get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Wando were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, J.L. Mann was able to grind out a solid win over Blythewood on Friday, taking the game 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering J.L. Mann's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Blythewood are ranked 31st).

Wando's record is now 19-1-2. As for J.L. Mann, their record now sits at 18-3-1.

Wando couldn't quite get it done against J.L. Mann when the teams last played back in May of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
