With a playoff win on the line, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher rose to the challenge on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 48-13 win over the Divide County Maroons. The Storm might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 35 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.7 points over those games. As for Divide County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.

Coming up, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against New Rockford-Sheyenne/Maddock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
