Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Mckenzie

McKenzie strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Flomaton Hurricanes as they made off with a 50-25 victory.

McKenzie had a senior duo take command as Devin Covan went 10-for-18 on his way to 25 points and seven rebounds and Quay Jackson dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. Jackson's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

McKenzie's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Flomaton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. McKenzie will face off against Luverne at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Flomaton, they will take on Georgiana at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
