Baseball Recap: Kent-Meridian Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Kent-Meridian's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Auburn Mountainview Lions on Monday. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Kent-Meridian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was LJ Ragudos, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Ragudos is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Kent-Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Auburn Mountainview, their record now sits at 6-8.

While Kent-Meridian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
