After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Union City, South Fulton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the West Carroll War Eagles by a score of 3-1. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the War Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
South Fulton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 19-25, 25-20.
Journee Puckett paced South Fulton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Puckett got some help from Samantha Auxier and her 18 assists. McKynlee Guthrie and Lilie Martin kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.
