It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Concord had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Kelseyville Knights as they made off with an 11-5 victory. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on five straight.

Max Dashner made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Concord let Pascual Palafox and Jonah Oleole run wild. Palafox went 4-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Oleole went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Palafox has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorge Bravo, who went 3-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Concord was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .513. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Concord's record is now 11-15. As for Kelseyville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.
