Basketball Recap: Linden-McKinley Panthers vs. Centennial Stars

Linden-McKinley lost against Centennial back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Linden-McKinley Panthers were dealt a 63-24 defeat at the hands of the Centennial Stars. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Stars recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Centennial found their leader in sophomore Kennedy Houston, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine steals. Houston's evening made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Kayla Houston was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.

Linden-McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Centennial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Linden-McKinley will be playing in front of their home fans against Northland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will venture away from home to face off against Columbus International at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
