Football Game Preview: Port Clinton Redskins vs. Edison Chargers

The Port Clinton Redskins are taking a road trip to take on the Edison Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Port Clinton will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up three points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Sandusky on Friday. The Redskins blew past the Blue Streaks 43-8. The Redskins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 35 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Edison sidestepped Huron for a 24-21 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Port Clinton's record is now 6-4. As for Edison, their record now sits at 7-3.

Port Clinton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Edison in their previous meeting on October 10th, but they still walked away with a 21-17 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redskins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
