Recap: Lake City Panthers vs. Stall Warriors
On Friday, Lake City strolled past Stall with points to spare, taking the game 68-51. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lake City.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blayne Edwards, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Bryson Rose, who scored 23 points.
Lake City's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Stall, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Lake City will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Crestwood at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Crestwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Lake City likes a good challenge. Stall and Cane Bay will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
