Volleyball Recap: Stoneman Douglas Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Stoneman Douglas waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Chaminade-Madonna Lions by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

The victory didn't come easy: Chaminade-Madonna scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Stoneman Douglas was led to victory by Chloe Siqueira and Grace Pulsifer. Siqueira had 16 digs and three assists, while Pulsifer had 19 assists and two aces. Those 16 digs gave Siqueira a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Stoneman Douglas was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chaminade-Madonna only served eight aces.

Despite the loss, Chaminade-Madonna had strong showings from Keylanis Cruz, who had 19 digs and five assists, and Ava Garcia, who had 17 digs.

Stoneman Douglas' record now sits at 4-0. As for Chaminade-Madonna, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Stoneman Douglas will square off against Pembroke Pines Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chaminade-Madonna, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Cooper City on the 4th.
