Basketball Recap: Noah Wright Key Part of a Team Effort in Sabres Win

South Wake won the last time they faced DASH and things went their way on Thursday too. The South Wake Sabres strolled past the DASH United with points to spare, taking the game 77-60. Given the Sabres' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the United are ranked 317th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Wake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Wright led the charge by going 8 of 17 on his way to 22 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Jones, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 22 points.

Southeastern HomeSchool has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 211 points over their last three games.
