Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier Comes Up Short

Greenbrier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the White House Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-19.

Leading White House to victory were Piper Sloan and Kristianna Peterson-Reyes. Sloan had seven digs and two aces, while Peterson-Reyes had 19 digs and three assists. That's the most aces Sloan has posted over her last two matches.

Greenbrier's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for White House, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Greenbrier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Westmoreland on the 25th. As for White House, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Hendersonville on the 24th.
