On Friday, Chris Sanchez earned his first-ever forced fumble. He also made 11 total tackles, helping propel West Rusk past Diboll by a score of 22-12. We think that's the best game he's posted since October 4th, 2024, when he made seven total tackles and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Looking ahead, Sanchez and West Rusk will venture away from home to square off against Gladewater at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sanchez had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in September of 2024 32-20.
